I just bought the Nintendo DS, for those who have it, what games do you recommend?? And why?

Answer: Both Mariokart DS and Tetris DS are amazing games that I think everyone should own. Each game boasts a lot of single player content, in addition to fantastic multiplayer and online gaming features. If you like classic games, Clubhouse Games has over 50 different games like checkers, chess, darts, poker, reversi, backgammon and much more (in addition to some neat online features). If you like pinball games, Metroid Pinball combines great pinball mechanics with the Metroid Universe, and even includes a Rumble Pak that allows you to feel the action. In addition to these games, there are many unique and engaging titles that you can only play on the DS (because of it's neat features), such as Nintendogs (where you care for your own puppy through actions you perform with the touch screen microphone) and Trauma Center: Under the Knife (where you perform multiple types of surgery on patients). The Nintendo DS has a lot of different games that everyone can enjoy, but if you can, check out reviews of games that interest you (before you buy them) at websites like IGN.com or Gamespot.com so that you can avoid paying 30 dollars for a game that might not be worth it. Also, don't forget that your Nintendo DS can play Gameboy Advance games, some of which start at 15.00 or less. My personal favorite Gameboy Advance games are The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap and Super Mario Advance 4 (Super Mario Bros. 3).
