Nintendo DS?

Question: I may be intersting in getting a 'Nintendo DS' and I have a few questions about it. About how much does a 'Nintendo DS' cost? About how much do the games for it cost? If it worth the money? How are the graphics? What exactly is a 'Nintendo DS Lite'? How is it different then the regular version and is it more expensive? I know that when it first came out, it came with 'Nintendo Dogs'. Does it still come with it free? Thanks in advance.

Answer: A Nintendo DS is $130. Games for a DS usually cost from $20 to $30. It's definitely worth the money if you like portable games. The graphics are really good for a hand-held. Most of the games aren't 3D based, they're more illustrated or cartoonish, so the images are really clear and fun to look at. However, some of the games like Final Fantasy are in 3D, and they're a little pixelated, but its the same for the PSP. A Nintendo DS lite is the upgraded version of the original DS. The original DS was the "prototype" pretty much, and they no longer manufacture them. It was chunkier looking and the screens weren't very bright at all. The DS is the new sleek design of the DS, with brighter screens, smaller designs, and more color choices. The only downside of the DSlite is that the speakers aren't as loud as the original DS, but it's only a slight difference. Nothing to complain about at all. The DSlite will look more expensive, but it's actually normally priced. The original DS is cheaper because it's an out-dated version and they're trying to get rid of the last of them. It doesn't come out with Nintendogs anymore, but there is a package deal that comes with Brain Age 2 (which is a fantastic game as well). Nintendogs is now a really cheap game you can pick up from any Gamestop. If you're worried about prices, get a used Nintendogs for even less. Used DS games are in a cartridge, so they're extremely difficult to ruin the data for the game. You wont run into any issues with buying used (unless someone broke it apart, but they would never re-sell those anyway. haha) I hope that helps!
