How come Nintendo makes kiddy games for the Wii?

Question: The wii has no real violent kill em kind of games like GTA.What's up with that?Xbox 360 has saints row and GTA 4 is comming out for it and the PS3.All the wii has is ................................... would'nt you like to see GTA for the wii.

Answer: Nintendo is trying to change its image as being a kiddie game maker. Reggie Fils-Amie has said that he would love to have GTA on the Wii, and he's pushing for it. Whether or not it's going to happen is up to Rockstar, but by the look of sales of the Wii, it would be foolish for Rockstar to not make a GTA game for the Wii. Nintendo is kind of stuck in the 80s. Back in the 80s, video games was more for the kids and teens, and it was taboo for adults to play video games, so Nintendo aimed their characters at the kids and teens. And for a while, it did Nintendo a lot of good, but Nintendo failed to realize that those kids and teens have grown up, and they're still playing video games. I don't think Nintendo expected those kids to still be playing video games. Nintendo probably thought they're buying games for their kids, not themselves.
