I have an urge to play a Pokemon game!?

Question: I gave up my Nintendo DS for a PSP which was a good decision but I can't play the one game I played on the Nintendo DS, which was Pokemon. I don't want to play a Pokemon Game. But I don't want to play an actually Pokemon game I was just wondering is there a PlayStation game that bares a resemblance to Pokemon?
